We offer sibling discounts, military, and first responder families

 If a class is canceled, families will be notified by email and/or automated text message, and updates will also be shared on social media.

School closures do not necessarily mean our classes are canceled. We do not offer makeup classes for weather-related cancellations, but students are welcome to make up missed time by attending another class in a different genre within their age group.

Please notify the studio via the parent portal if your student will be absent from class. We encourage students to make up a missed class by taking another within the same age level or lower. Regular attendance in class is expcted and important in your dancer's safety and class experience. 

  The entire faculty of Legacy Studios is dedicated to helping each student reach their fullest potential. The following policies are designed to support a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment and to help our instructors guide students toward success.

Attendance
Consistent attendance is essential for a dancer's progress, skill development, and group choreography.  Frequent absences or tardiness may hinder a student’s ability to keep pace with the class and may impact performance readiness. Excessive absences may affect a student’s eligibility to participate in performances. 

Punctuality & Warm-Up
Proper warm-up is essential for injury prevention. Students are expected to arrive on time for class. If a special circumstance requires a student to arrive late or leave early, please notify the instructor in advance whenever possible.

Dress Code
Students must follow the studio dress code for all classes.

Respect & Conduct
Students are expected to show respect to their classmates, instructors, and the studio environment at all times.

Social Media
As representatives of Legacy Studios, students and families are expected to be mindful of social media activity. Our studio promotes a safe, non-violent, and inclusive environment. Any online behavior that contradicts these values is prohibited.

Photo & Media Release
By enrolling at Legacy Studios School of Dance, you grant permission for studio photos and videos to be used on our website and in promotional or advertising materials.
