lssod competition team information

The LSSOD competition team provides students with an intense, yet fun class regime to enhance their regular dance training. Team members will compete in 4 regional competitions each year, as well as take part in other performance opportunities. Dancers who wish to tryout and participate in the team are committing to a more vigorous and approach to dance education but the rewards in memories, teamwork, and opportunities are endless!

To be eligible for placement on the team, students are required to take the following class requirements per regular season week:

Grades K-3:
Regular Season: Ballet/Tap, Jazz

Summer Session: Jazz Technique

Grades 4-5:
Regular Season: Ballet, Jazz, Tap

Summer Session: Jazz Technique & Strength and Conditioning

Grade 6 & Up:

Regular Season: Ballet, Ballet Technique, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary

**Students must be enrolled in a Hip Hop class in order to compete in a competitive hip hop piece with Legacy Studios
