Chrissy was the Owner/Director of Lorraine Spada School of Dance prior to Legacy. She graduated from Plymouth State University with a B.S. in Dance and Business Management, where she was captain of both the Dance Team and the Contemporary Dance Ensemble, Assistant Director of the Dance Department, performed at the American College Dance Festivals, and also received the 2004 Dancer of the Year Award. She is a certified Dance Educator through the Dance Teacher's Club of Boston. Chrissy has been dancing at LSSOD since 1993, teaching since 2001 and she has been honored to now have the privilege of directing the studio that has been so near and dear to her heart for so many years. In addition to LSSOD, she is also the Choreographer Director for the award winning North Reading High School Performing Arts Department.
Cait is former competitive dancer and alumni of LSSOD who has been pursuing her love of dance for over 25 years. In 2004 she founded the Tewksbury Highschool Dance Program where she directed and choreographed from 2004-2007. She went on to attend Assumption College where she graduated with a B.A. in Marketing and a minor in Psychology. There she was a member of the Assumption College Dance Club and taught classes in the local area. Over the last 10 years she has acquired several certifications in dance education from programs including The University of Las Vegas Teacher Training Program and Broadway Dance Center's Dance Educator Intensive. She has extensive training in pedagogy techniques, injury prevention, and pursues continuing education opportunities at conferences such as The Dance Teacher Summit, DanceLife Conference, NUVO, and more. She continues to take class at local studios such as (the former) Jeanette Neill Dance Studio, Urbanity, and The Dance Complex. Cait is passionate about creating meaningful, inspired movement which has been showcased in many award-winning pieces. With her versatility and background in many different technical styles, Cait aims to create strong, authentic, and well-rounded dancers.
Eric started attending Lorraine Spada School of Dance in elementary school. At the studio he studied jazz, ballet, modern, lyrical, musical theater, and tap disciplines. As a student he competed in regional competitions and attended conventions across New England. Eric brings his musical background to dance. Since elementary school Eric has held a concert percussion background where he later became the principal percussionist of the Massachusetts Youth Wind Ensemble at the New England Conservatory in Boston. Eric has received his Dance Education Training Course certificate from the Dance Teachers Club of Boston with concentrations in various dance styles, dance history, music, and injury prevention. Eric went on to attend Bentley University where he graduated with a B.S. in Corporate Finance and Accounting and minors in Law and Management. He continued his dance education at the Jeanette Neil Dance Studio where he studied jazz and contemporary styles. Eric is excited to share his love of dance with the students of Legacy Studios School of Dance.
Emily is a proud Boston native who began dancing at the age of three and instantly fell in love. Her training includes ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary, among other styles. She is a recent graduate of Roger Williams University, receiving a BA in Dance and Performance Studies and Global Communication. At RWU, she’s performed in 10 dance theatre shows and has had the opportunity to work with some wonderful guest choreographers. Emily is continually taking classes in the Boston area and looks forward to sharing her passion with the students at Legacy Studios School of Dance.
Janenne is a 15-year student, former competition member, and alumni of Lorraine Spada School of Dance. She received her gymnastics training from Reading Gymnastics Academy and Wilkey’s Gymnastics. Janenne has also performed with the Albany Berkshire Ballet in their annual performance of The Nutcracker. She is the choreographer and dance instructor at North Shore Children’s Theatre where she teaches musical theatre and tap. She is also a seasonal choreographer for musicals at the Village Middle School, the Marblehead Community Charter School, and the Veterans Middle School. Over the years, Janenne has attended numerous dance conventions and master classes where she has studied under famous choreographers such as Laurieanne Gibson, Brandon Bryant, Ellenore Scott and more. She attended Regis College where she obtained a B.A. in Biology and was the director of Regis College Dance Company, choreographing contemporary and jazz. She enjoys her days as a high school teacher. Janenne is overjoyed to continue her love for the arts with the students of LSSOD.
Meghan has been dancing since she was two, dance had helped her become the person she is today. While she was a dancer for these multiple years, she had both taken and assisted classes. In addition to taking those classes, she was on the competition team. She performed at Celtics games, Disney, Universal Studios and more. She loves being a dance teacher and Is so glad that one of her dreams has come true. The dance studio is a second home for her and she is so excited for this journey to continue at Legacy!
Kammi is a LSSOD alumni who has been dancing since the age of three. She was a member of the competition team for eight years and has danced at Universal Studios and Celtics games. She also assisted dance classes of all levels for six years. She is currently pursing her Doctorate of Pharmacy at MCPHS University and has been part of two college dance associations.
